Beijing Institute of Technology is a national university under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, specialised in engineering fields such as mechanical, electronic and vehicle engineering. International undergraduates apply through the Office of International Students for either Chinese taught or a set of eight English taught engineering and business programmes.
BIT's Global Excellence Scholarship covers full tuition, free dormitory accommodation and a 2,500 CNY monthly stipend for four years for outstanding undergraduate applicants.
