Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school qualification recognised as equivalent to the Leaving Certificate, meeting the subject and grade requirements of the chosen programme. Advanced entry applicants provide transcripts and module syllabi from prior study.
Master
A relevant undergraduate honours degree, normally second class honours grade 1 or equivalent GPA.
Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates, evidence of English language proficiency, and passport copy. Advanced entry applicants add a cover note stating they are applying for advanced entry, plus transcripts and module syllabi. A EUR 50 application fee and, after an offer, a EUR 500 deposit apply.
How to apply
- Check entry requirements for your chosen course.
- Apply through the DCU student application portal, paying the EUR 50 application fee.
- Submit transcripts, English test results and supporting documents; apply by 15 February for priority consideration.
- Receive a decision; DCU continues to accept applications on a rolling basis until 1 July or until courses fill.
- Accept your offer, pay the EUR 500 deposit, and apply for your study visa.
English test waiver
General minimum is IELTS 6.5 overall with no component below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 92, PTE Academic 63 with no component below 59, or Duolingo 120 with no subscore below 110, achieved in a single sitting within two years of the programme start date. Some programmes set higher requirements.
