University of Glasgow Admission 2027 for International Students

Glasgow is Scotland's fourth oldest university, teaching the four year Scottish bachelor's degree structure. Admission at a glance

Glasgow takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the standard national calendar: 15 October 2026, 18:00 UK time, for MBChB Medicine, BDS Dentistry and BVMS Veterinary Medicine, and 13 January 2027, 18:00 UK time, for equal consideration on every other course. English language ability of IELTS 6.5 overall with no skill below 6.0 is confirmed directly across several undergraduate programme pages and appears to be Glasgow's standard requirement, though a small number of routes such as its Access Programme and Study Abroad exchange scheme use a lower level.

Glasgow's overseas (international) tuition fee for 2026-27 entry is confirmed directly on the university's own international fees page: GBP 27,720 a year for Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law (including graduate entry Law), GBP 33,210 for Science, Engineering and Nursing, GBP 37,350 for Veterinary Medicine (BVMS), GBP 58,500 for Dental Surgery (BDS), and GBP 62,730, the highest confirmed figure, for its clinical MBChB Medicine programme. A separate, lower rate applies to incoming Study Abroad students on a semester or year basis, which is a different category from a full undergraduate degree and is not used as the minimum figure here.
