Utrecht University is a large public research university with programmes across the humanities, sciences, medicine, law and social sciences. Non-EEA bachelor's tuition varies by programme, from about EUR 12,068 to EUR 28,416 a year, and non-EU applicants must complete their application by 1 April.

Non-EEA institutional tuition is set per bachelor's programme and runs from about EUR 12,068 to EUR 28,416 a year; a sample of Utrecht master's programmes for 2026-2027 shows institutional fees such as EUR 21,342 (Economics and Data Analysis) and EUR 25,306 (Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences). The statutory rate for eligible EEA students is EUR 2,694. A EUR 100 application fee applies to applicants with a non-Dutch diploma.
