Western University Admission Requirements 2027

Western University, in London, Ontario, admits international undergraduates through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre with a general equal-consideration deadline in mid-January. Published 2026-27 international tuition for its main first-entry programs runs from about CAD 47,500 to CAD 64,300 a year, excluding second-entry professional programs.

Requirements

Bachelor (first entry)

Admission is based on Grade 12 or equivalent results in the subjects each admission category requires; Engineering and Nursing are organized as cohort-based programs with their own requirements. There is no single published minimum average across all categories.

Second entry and professional programs

Programs such as Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Education and the Ivey HBA admit from among students who have already completed some or all of an undergraduate degree, with their own application process and, in most cases, a separate, higher tuition schedule.

Official transcripts in the required Grade 12 or equivalent subjects; English proficiency test results unless exempt; any supplementary form a specific program requires.
