Admission at a glance

Liverpool takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the national calendar: 18:00 UK time on 13 January 2027 is the equal consideration deadline for 2027 entry, and medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine or science courses across the UK follow an earlier 15 October 2026 deadline instead. Liverpool's own English Language Requirements policy statement sets the university wide minimum for undergraduate study at IELTS 6.0 overall with no sub-test below 5.5, though many individual programmes ask for a higher score, and clinical subjects can ask for as much as 7.0. All international students must also separately satisfy the UK Visas and Immigration CEFR B2 knowledge-of-English standard as a condition of the Student visa itself.

Overseas undergraduate tuition, confirmed from the University's own published Schedule of Fees for the 2025-26 academic year, is banded by faculty: GBP 24,100 a year for taught undergraduate programmes in Humanities and Social Sciences, GBP 29,100 for Health and Life Sciences and for Science and Engineering, GBP 44,850 for the Veterinary Science BVSc, GBP 47,600 for other clinical taught programmes in Health and Life Sciences, and GBP 48,550, the highest confirmed figure, for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery. A 2026-27 schedule had not yet been published at the time of this research, and the University's own news pages state international fees will rise by around 3.4 percent for that year.

Postgraduate taught applications for January 2027 entry close on 18 December 2026 for international applicants and 15 January 2027 for UK and Republic of Ireland applicants; some engineering and physics programmes close earlier, on 30 November 2026, for international applicants.
