Admission at a glance

Exeter takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the national calendar: 18:00 UK time on 13 January 2027 is the equal consideration deadline for 2027 entry, and medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine or science courses across the UK follow an earlier 15 October 2026 deadline instead. English language ability is set through profiles A to G, each programme page naming the profile it uses; Profile B2, confirmed directly on Exeter's own page, asks for IELTS 6.5 overall with no element below 6.0, or the equivalent TOEFL iBT 90, PTE Academic 67, or Duolingo 120, with test results valid for two years from the course start.

Exeter has already published its international undergraduate fees for 2027 entry: GBP 25,700 a year for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (including Law) and for Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, Economics and Marketing; GBP 31,500 for Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and related STEM subjects; GBP 32,150 for Biosciences, Biomedical Sciences and Psychology; and GBP 49,300 for BMBS Medicine, the highest confirmed figure. Exeter expects only modest further increases in later years of a course, in line with inflation.

Masters applications use fixed deadlines rather than a rolling system. For January 2027 entry the deadline is 23:59 UK time on 4 January 2027 for both UK and international applicants. For the September 2026 intake the international deadline was 28 August 2026 and the UK deadline 16 September 2026; a Masters applicant to Exeter should check which of these two entry points, or a later one not yet published at the time of this research, applies to their course.
