Seoul National University Application Deadlines 2027

Seoul National University is Korea's oldest and most internationally recognised national university, admitting international undergraduates through a Global Talent Special Admission that runs twice a year for a March or September start. Tuition is the same for Korean and international students and is set per college, from about KRW 2.44 million a semester in humanities and law to over KRW 5 million a semester once a medical student reaches the clinical years. Admission is a single-stage document review with no separate quota, so competition ratios are not published.

SNU calls its September intake the later-term (Fall) round. The most recent cycle, for September 2026 entry, ran its online application from 3 to 5 March 2026; the guide for the September 2027 intake had not been published at the time of this review.

Global Talent Special Admission (Types I and II) for the March 2027 intake. Interview candidates for Global Talent II were announced 11 September 2026 with interviews 18 September 2026 (video interview at most colleges; the College of Design and Physical Education use a written or practical test instead). Preliminary results were due 16 October 2026, original documents by 3 November 2026, and final results 20 November 2026.

Global international graduate admission for the March 2027 intake follows the same online application window as undergraduate Global Talent admission; each graduate school then sets its own document deadlines and any interview or exam.
