Requirements
Bachelor
Strong performance in a recognised secondary school qualification with science subjects, normally including biology, chemistry or physics, plus the Casper situational judgement test for non-EU applicants and, depending on route, an admissions test or interview. Non-EU applicants in the United States and Canada apply through Atlantic Bridge rather than directly.
Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates, evidence of English language proficiency where required, passport copy, and Casper situational judgement test results. A EUR 75 application fee applies to direct non-EU applications.
How to apply
- Confirm which application route applies to your country: direct to RCSI, or through Atlantic Bridge for the United States and Canada.
- Register for and complete the Casper situational judgement test.
- Apply online between 1 November and 15 January, paying the EUR 75 application fee, or the Atlantic Bridge fee if that route applies.
- Submit transcripts and English test results if required.
- Accept your offer and apply for your study visa.
English test waiver
Non-EU applicants whose first language is not English, and who have not been taught entirely in English (for example through the International Baccalaureate or A Levels), must present a minimum overall average IELTS score of 6.5 with no individual band below 6.0, taken in a single sitting and less than two years old at admission. Equivalent TOEFL scores are also accepted.
