Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school qualification recognised as equivalent to the Leaving Certificate, meeting the points and subject requirements of the chosen course. Applicants seeking advanced entry to year 2, 3 or 4 provide transcripts of relevant prior study.
Master
A relevant undergraduate honours degree, normally second class honours grade 1 or equivalent GPA.
Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates, and evidence of English language proficiency.
How to apply
- Check entry requirements for your chosen course and campus.
- Apply online through MTU's international admissions system.
- Submit transcripts, English test results and supporting documents before 31 May for September entry.
- Receive a decision.
- Accept your offer, pay any required deposit, and apply for your study visa.
English test waiver
First-year undergraduate entry minimum is IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0, TOEFL iBT 70 with at least 15 in each section, PTE Academic 46 with at least 41 in each component, or Duolingo 90. Advanced entry (direct entry to year 2, 3 or 4) and postgraduate programmes ask for a higher IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 51, or Duolingo 100.
