King's College London Admission 2027 for International Students

King's is a large central London university with a strong presence in health, law and the humanities. Its English language bands (A, B, D) are set by course rather than centrally, and Band B, the most widely used band, sets a 7.0 overall IELTS requirement.

Admission at a glance

King's takes undergraduate applications through UCAS on the standard national calendar: 15 October 2026, 18:00 UK time, for its medicine and dentistry courses, and 13 January 2027, 18:00 UK time, for equal consideration on every other course. English language requirements are set in named bands rather than as a single figure: Band B, covering the majority of King's courses including arts and humanities, law, business and medicine, asks for IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each skill; Band D, covering Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences and some other courses, asks for 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0; and Band A, its highest band, asks for 7.5 overall with a minimum of 7.0, currently used for the Dentistry Entry Programme for Medical Graduates. Test scores must be obtained within two years of the course start date, from a single test sitting.

King's overseas (international) tuition fee is set per course rather than published as one institution-wide table; King's central fees hub page states only the UK fee and directs applicants to each course's own fees page. Checked directly for 2027 entry, English BA charges GBP 30,750 a year and Medicine MBBS charges GBP 60,200 a year, the highest confirmed rate. Other courses were not individually checked in this pass, so a course between these two subjects could in principle sit outside this span, though Medicine is very likely still the university's highest fee.
