The KAIST Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded automatically to nearly all admitted international undergraduates, covering tuition for up to eight semesters, a monthly stipend and health insurance; continuing it requires keeping a minimum GPA. Most international graduate students separately receive a full-tuition-and-stipend award tied to their department or advisor, and Korean government schemes such as the Global Korea Scholarship also fund students at KAIST.
