For the two main terms of a normal first year (Fall and Winter, an eight month academic year), Waterloo publishes combined international tuition and incidental fees from about CAD 58,000 for the Faculty of Arts to about CAD 75,000 for Engineering and Software Engineering, plus about CAD 1,500 for books and supplies. Because Waterloo charges tuition per term and resets the international rate each September, a program with additional co-op work terms in a year shows different total charges than this two-term estimate.
