Juniors and seniors in Business, Engineering or Computer Science pay a higher differential rate of 23,730.50 dollars a semester, 47,461 dollars for the year. Neither figure includes the mandatory student health insurance plan, priced at just under 3,000 dollars a year, or room, board, books and personal expenses, which UMD's financial aid office estimates separately.
